There are 5 stages to this inspection service depending on construction type.
1 – prior to pouring concrete
2 – frame stage
3 – lock up stage (prior to internal wall linings)
4 – wall lining and waterproofing
5 – handover or completion stage
Don’t hand over your final payment until you have at least had a handover inspection completed, as once you have paid that final payment you will find it very hard to get your builder to rectify any issues. This service can be done with as little or as many inspections as you like throughout the construction. This type of inspection adds a small cost compared to the overall building cost, but will provide excellent piece of mind to you the home owner.
